An addon domain allows a new domain name to link to a subdirectory of your account. The addon domain’s files will be stored in a subdirectory of your
public_html (Document Root) directory. Addon domains allow you to control multiple domains from a single account.
To create an addon domain:

Email accounts can be created for addon domains. Read the Email Accounts documentation to learn how to set up an email account for an addon domain.
When you remove the addon domain, email accounts that are associated with the addon domain will no longer appear in the cPanel interface. However, the contents for this email account still exist in the mail folder of the user's home directory:

When you remove an addon domain, any email accounts associated with that domain will no longer appear in the cPanel interface. However, the files for these email accounts will still exist. If you re-add the same addon domain, any email accounts associated with that domain will appear in the cPanel interface.
The email accounts will also appear in the cPanel interface if you change the account’s primary domain name to the removed addon domain name.
